Awarded 2026/27 Meine Meierei Himbeer Eierlikör
A raspberry Eierlikör, the German egg liqueur, from the island of Norderney: Meine Meierei makes the classic light and fruity. As with all of the Meierei's Feine Kost products, the guests of its own tavern were the first to taste it and give their approval.
What sets this product apart
A Himbeergeist-Eierlikör, as the Meierei calls it, a raspberry-spirit egg liqueur: raspberries make the classic light and fruity. In the glass the liqueur flows silkily and shows a clear colour; on the palate it is pleasantly rounded. For the Meierei this is Eierlikör 2.0: a familiar classic, made lighter. It is sold at the Meierei-Kontor shop on the island, in food retail & in the online shop.
Since 2018 the Meierei Norderney has appeared in new guise: a tavern with a charcoal grill, a quiet tea room & the Meierei-Kontor shop for browsing, all in the listed milk collection station dating from 1884. The Meierei Feine Kost range now runs to almost 30 products, from five kinds of mustard through pickled vegetables to nut liqueur from the rum cask. In the end, as the team itself puts it, what the Meierei sells above all is a good time.
